The waterproof metal box is a sealed container of metal, proof against water and left unlocked. Within lay four small bottles, a diary written in French, and a scroll known for a scroll of Greater Restoration.
The box was found beside two skeletons and two old Lydian gold coins. The company opened it, breaking the seal, and took out the four bottles, the diary, and the scroll. Two of the bottles proved topical draughts against petrification; the scroll was named for Greater Restoration; and the diary made mention of Petrus Gyllius, of ancient waterworks, of stairs descending below, of bodies cast away there, of a huge cage, of members of the lodge, and of a dreaded she-devil.
