A viscous black liquid, the Potion of Necrotic Resistance was named for what it was by Papa Miray, an alchemist of some discernment: a draught that lends its drinker resistance to necrotic harm. It was recovered from a laboratory strewn with shattered vials and herbs turned to stone, this one intact bottle being all that remained sound amidst the ruin.
At the hour of its finding the potion betrayed no magic to detection; yet its worth was not lost upon the company, who, with the dead walking and necrotic hurt so near a danger, were glad to keep so timely a remedy against the foes before them.
