The magical spectacles are an enchanted pair of glasses that give off a magic plain to detection, recovered from amongst the skeletons and treasure of the cistern's prison level. Gizem knew them by her arcana and named them a device "to avoid direct eye contact." Worn, they lend the wearer a slightly raised vantage, so that one sees as though from a little height whilst yet moving as freely as before.
