Yakub Agha is bound up with a sword that was put to use in an attempt upon the life of Alemdar Mustafa Pasha of March. Alemdar Mustafa Pasha gave a close description of that blade, thinking it might be known to the party; and indeed the company remarked a sword very like it set out on display at the Janissary Headquarters. It was Yakub Agha's sword by name that Alemdar Mustafa Pasha of March charged the party to recover.
